Chillin

Slàinte! We had a very nice mellow day yesterday. We slept in late then meandered into town for lunch. We ate at a cute little Italian place where we sat outside. From there we went to watch Izzy's play. Was so weird to be watching him perform here. It just didn't register that we weren't in California. Anyhow, we loved watching him and agreed he was the best actor in the show. Although, I did think the woman who played his mother came in a close second. After hanging around after the play we walked back to our hotel for some chips (french fries) and some rest. Felt like our 4pm snack on the cruises. After a few hours of rest and showers we walked back into town where we ran into this bagpiper street musician pictured above. He was so good and it was so fun that their street musicians are bagpipers. If I was a guy I would dress like him all the time. I've been trying to convince Jeff to get a kilt. I even offered to pay. He doesn't seem very interested. We'll see. So from town we hopped into a cab and headed for the seaside. We walked around and checked out the boats which Jeff loved of course. Finally we made our way to this phenomenal restaurant called The Ship on the Shore. It was so cute and charming and the food was excellent. They are known for their local seafood and campaign. Both boys were very happy. Jeff ate sardines with faces and eyes gouged out for his appetizer and they made me something special not on the menu for my dinner since I'm a veg- goat cheese salad and risotto. Delicious! The only time we could get a reservation at this place was 9:30 but since it was our only event for the evening we took it. So worth it. Not sure what time we finished but we were all packed and bloated. Took a cab back to the hotel and slept immediately. I of course have been awake since 4am. I'm convinced I'm not going to sleep in Europe. Will have to wait till I get back home then sleep for three days. Boys are still asleep. Not completely sure what today will bring. There was mention of a hike and of course Izzy's last performance. Other then that not too sure what else. It's our last day in Scotland and that makes me a little sad. I really love it here and feel like I'm among my people like everyone (the Scotts) are all my friends and family. There is something very familiar about them. Sounds weird but that's how I feel.
